I have to admit that I never would have thought of this idea
and I was not the creative person that put these together, but I loved them and
wanted to share the idea.
Unfortunately due to the fact that I did not build them I don't have detailed instructions on how to recreate them but I will try to give a little information below the pictures to help in case you want to give it a try!
As a precursor, I chew a lot of gum. Sometimes it is a little ridiculous - I may as well be Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
So, my best friend, taking this in to account made me a bouquet of flowers out of gum for Christmas! Seriously cute and creative. His brother's told me it took him all of Thanksgiving break to make them and many trips to Walmart. He transported them to Utah from Arizona very carefully and presented them to me at Christmas - I loved them!
So, you can probably make out how he did this pretty easily by the pictures but here is what I know:
He used different types of gum and hot glue mostly. You can see sticks of gum both nearly hole on the big red flower and then sticks of gum cut up on the lower green flower. He used Bubble Tape to do the round flowers and then both Trident and Chiclets as decorations on a pre-cut wooden flower, which he painted to match the color of the gum he would use.
He probably used some of that green foam used to hold flowers in place in a pot to stick the sticks in to - at least that is what I would have tried to use, but I can't actually tell what it is because he covered it with fake grass.
